These are the Terms and Conditions of your subscription to The Assignment Report and your use of The Assignment Report Content ("TAR Content"). These terms apply to your use of all TAR Content irrespective of the delivery platform – including newsletter format or website archive - and irrespective of how the TAR Content is delivered to you. By accessing TAR Content you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions below. If you use TAR Content in the course of your business, you are also agreeing to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of that business and should also read the paragraph in Section 2 regarding At Work Use. 1. Introduction


 


These Terms and Conditions were last updated on 2 January 2010. Meissa Limited ("The Publisher") may change, alter or withdraw any part of TAR Content at any time (with or without notice) and may also change the Terms and Conditions.


 


2. Access and Use
The Assignment Report newsletter and other TAR Content is accessible only to paying subscribers.


Permitted Use
All TAR Content belongs to The Publisher. The Publisher owns all intellectual property rights (including copyright and database rights) in TAR Content and any selection or arrangement of the TAR Content. You may only use TAR Content in your personal 'at work' capacity by:




  • retrieving and displaying TAR Content on any compatible device.




  • printing the newsletter or a single copy of individual articles on paper.




  •  


    storing the newsletter and individual articles in electronic form on disk or on a mobile device (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network).




 


Restrictions on Use


 


Except as expressly set out above, you may not copy, reproduce, publish, broadcast, transmit, modify, adapt, create derivative works of, store, archive, publicly display or in any way commercially exploit any of the TAR Content. Without limitation, you may not do any of the following without prior written permission from The Publisher:




  • redistribute the newsletter or any of the TAR Content (including by using it as part of any syndication, content aggregation, news aggregation, library, archive or similar service).




  • remove the copyright or trade mark notice from any copies of TAR Content made under these Terms and Conditions.




  • create a database in electronic or structured manual form by systematically and/or regularly downloading/printing and storing all or any of the TAR Content; or deep link to, frame, harvest or scrape the TAR Content or otherwise access the TAR Content for similar purposes.




  • use any machine, electronic, web based or similar device to read or extract the TAR Content by automated or machine based means.




At Work Use
If you are using TAR Content in an 'at work' capacity and your use extends beyond personal commercial use then you should contact The Publisher at subs@theassignmentreport.com to discuss your business requirements, since it is possible that your use of TAR Content extends beyond what is permitted by these Terms and Conditions. In particular, all requests to republish, redistribute or syndicate TAR Content, whether headlines, full text articles (or parts thereof) or the right to use TAR Content internally within your business (for example, as part of a regular information dissemination service or on a company Intranet) or any external use that you may make (for example, within client reports or briefings) should be addressed to us, as such use falls outside the scope of use permitted by these Terms and Conditions.


 


3. Privacy Policy


All information received by you from your use of TAR Content will be used by The Publisher in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


 


4. Warranties and Limitation of Liability


TAR Content is only for your general information and use and is not intended to address your particular requirements. In particular, TAR Content does not constitute any form of advice, recommendation, representation, endorsement or arrangement by The Publisher and is not intended to be relied upon by users in making (or refraining from making) any specific investment or other decisions. Appropriate independent advice should be obtained before making any such decision. Any information that you receive via TAR Content whether or not it is classified as 'real time', may have ceased to be current by the time it reaches you and share price information may be rounded up/down and therefore not entirely accurate. The Publisher is not responsible for any use of the TAR Content by you outside its scope as stated in these Terms and Conditions.


5. Third Party Sites and Services
TAR Content contains links to other Internet websites or online and mobile services provided by independent third parties ("Third Party Sites"), either directly or through frames. The Publisher is not responsible for the availability or content of Third Party Sites.


 


6. The Assignment Report Subscription Service


General


The Publisher operates The Assignment Report subscription service (“Paid for Service”). By subscribing to receive this Paid for Service, as well as the above Terms and Conditions, you are also agreeing to the terms in this section. You agree to pay any subscription fees at the rates in effect when the charges are incurred. If we do not receive payment we may immediately terminate or suspend your access to the Paid for Service. The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription to the Paid for Service if you breach these Terms and Conditions, with or without notice and without further obligation to you.


Scope


The Publisher’s standard Paid for Service for organisations enables up to three people within your organisation to receive copies of the newsletter direct to their desktop via email on publication and to access the subscribers’ only TAR Content archived on thewww.theassignmentreport.com website. If you wish to increase the number of people receiving the newsletter direct to their desktop via email or accessing TAR Content via the website contact The Publisher at subs@theassignmentreport.com


Pricing


The subscription price is for an annual subscription to The Paid for Service and The Publisher reserves the right to vary the price from time to time. VAT will be charged as appropriate. The Publisher will issue a renewal invoice before the expiry of your subscription period. The standard terms of payment for a subscription to the Paid for Service are 30 days.


Cancelling or Changing your subscription


 


You may cancel or make amendments to your subscription at any time by contacting The Publisher atsubs@theassignmentreport.com or alternatively phone 01223 263880. There shall be no refunds for cancelled subscriptions. Any cancellation will be effective once The Publisher receives notice of it.


 


7. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law.


8. Corporate Information

Meissa Limited may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any other company.


9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions were published on 
2 January 2010 and replace with immediate effect all Terms and Conditions previously published
