FE Associates delivers profitable year

FE Associates, the Taunton-based specialist provider of interim management and consultancy support in the post-16 sector, has reported a post tax, post dividend profit of £953k for the year ended 30 November 2012, according to abbreviated accounts filed recently at Companies House.

Set-up in 2004 by accountant Chris Trembath, the original company was sold to The Learning and Skills Network (LSN) - the expansive not for profit education research, development and training company - in January 2010. When LSN got into financial difficulties in 2011, eventually entering administration in November 2011, Chris Trembath and colleagues set up a new company and began trading as FE Associates in June 2011. FE associates works with private training providers and colleges to offer interim management and consultancy support for curriculum, finance, MIS, IT and funding, recruitment services and quality improvement services through the company’s BW Consultants division. The major shareholders are Chris Trembath and Martin Hill who each have a 38.75% stake in the business.
