International Correspondence Schools (ICS), the Glasgow based provider of adult distance learning programmes in the UK, has reported a pre-tax loss of £1.8m (2009: £3.5m loss - 18 months) for the year ended 31 December 2010 on revenue of £9.8m (2009: £17.3m – 18 months). The company ended 2010 with net liabilities of £3.2m (2009: £1.4m) with ICS's parent company guaranteeing financial support for at least another year.
