Edunova – part of the WSP Group – has won a £400k project to deliver e-learning consultancy services to the 37 Knowledge Net schools in Qatar over the next 18 months. The contract has been won in partnership with ITWorx, an Egyptian software services firm.

Qatar’s Knowledge Net project is a platform for designing an overall approach to integrating ICT into education. It is an e-education initiative of ictQATAR which was set up in 2004 to accelerate the transformation of Qatar into an information-based society. ictQATAR’s education strategy is to work towards ensuring that ‘every student in Qatari schools will be able to use technology confidently and creatively as a means to develop skills, construct knowledge and plan for self-development.’
